Love it or hate it there’s no denying the full moon is beautiful and always satisfying to image. The large impact craters such as Tycho and Copernicus stand out so well at this phase with the ejecta covering vast areas of the surface.

First Infrared moon test on Plato

First test using ZWO 850 IR pass filter on Plato and Alpine valley.
The question was: is the DBK sensitive at infrared wavelengths that the filter allows through and so can image during daylight hours?
